SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Mecmesin are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic degree qualified, or equivalent, Software Engineer with a genuine passion for designing, developing and delivering quality software for real time systems. The ideal candidate will have a flair in designing user interface based software development with emphasis on user experience design.

The post holder will be reporting to our Software Development Manager to develop and maintain a suite of software. It would be beneficial for the candidate to have 1-2 years’ experience of programming using C#, and .NET using Visual Studio.

It is essential that applicants:

  • are able to use version control systems such as Git and GitHub
  • a good communicator
  • have an understanding/appreciation of configuration management
  • have an understanding of the full software development life cycle
  • interested in UI and UX design

If you have the following skill sets, it would also be beneficial to your application:

  • WPF and MVVM
  • SQL Server, SQLite and Amazon AWS.
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS and Express.

MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN (CALIBRATION LAB)

We are seeking a capable Manufacturing Technician to work in our Calibration Lab and calibrate Mecmesin products, following quality procedures and work instructions.

 

The successful Manufacturing Technician must be a good team worker and able to be flexible, working extra hours occasionally if required to meet production deadlines.

The main responsibilities are:

  • To work with attention to detail and to record measurements accurately
  • To have good organization skills and work in a methodical manner
  • To work closely with the Quality Department to ensure the quality of products and services are maintained to agreed and set BSI ISO 9001 Standards
  • To work well with colleagues as part of the Manufacturing Calibration team
  • To ensure all aspects of Health and Safety are followed at all times

Ideally the candidate needs to be physically fit and able to lift weights as part of the calibration procedures.

The successful candidate will get full training on all Mecmesin products.
